Maintenance, annuals, major repairs and restoration
The core business of FAST Aero consists of restoration and maintenance of warbirds and vintage aircraft. Our workshop has the capability of providing all types of work and repairs: painting, woodwork, fabric, sheet metal and steel.
With our state of the art paintbooth, we can accomplish any fabric or paint work to the highest standards in a perfect environment.
Over the past 35 years we have accumulated a vast experience maintaining, restoring and operating many types of aircraft like P-51 Mustang, Sea Fury, Spitfire, Hurricane, Skyraider, Bf-109, Yak-3/9, Yak-11, Yak-18, Yak-52, T-6, SV-4, Tiger Moth, Boeing Stearman, Beech Staggerwing, Fieseler Storch, Fiat G-46 and many others.
Modern aircraft types that come through our shop are Pitts, Extra, Cirrus, TB-20, PC-7, TBM 750 and many others.
Additional services provided are:
- Major alterations and major repairs on all types of structures
- Import, export, shipping and crating of aircraft
- FAA annual inspections and FAA registrations
- Avionics work
FAST Aero holds EASA, FAA and BCAA approvals.
